Tabu senses trickery afoot and, in seeking to stop it, accidentally wounds a boy, unwittingly falling into a well-laid trap set by the magicians. Tabu quickly learns the error of his ways and exposes the tricks of the magicians and chases them into the jungle with his illusions.

Simba escapes and saves the kraal from depredations by Cheeta.
