Synopsis: |
American soldier Peter marries shop clerk Luise while he is deployed in West Germany. After Peter is discharged, Luise and her brother Ludwig are reunited with him in his hometown in Ohio. Luise is shocked to learn Peter is a welder in a factory and they must live modestly in a small house. Luise doesn’t like the town or people but is impressed by Lane, playboy son of the factory owner. Ludwig runs away and while Peter is searching for him, Lane makes a pass at Luise and is rejected. When Peter and Ludwig return, Luise apologises for her actions. |

Synopsis: |
Popular singer Loren is dedicated to her career. Offered a solo spot in a Broadway show, she coldly deserts her band, even though band members Dave, Ray, and Guy are all in love with her. After a year, her solo career hasn’t progressed so Loren decides to go back to the band, only to discover Dave’s new wife is their singer now. Guy is also married, and Ray tells her that her previous actions were selfish and killed their love for her. Loren hopes some day she will find a man to love. |
